Monday morning red cayenne chilli price Rp78,850/kg, chicken eggs Rp35,900/kg

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The National Strategic Food Price Information Centre (PIHPS), managed by Bank Indonesia, recorded food prices on Monday morning at 09:55 WIB, with the commodity of red cayenne chilli reaching Rp78,850 per kilogram (kg), while broiler chicken eggs stood at Rp35,900 per kg. Based on data from PIHPS reported in Jakarta, besides red cayenne chilli and chicken eggs, other national retail-level food prices included shallots at Rp53,900 per kg and garlic at Rp43,050 per kg. Additionally, grade I low-quality rice was priced at Rp16,550 per kg, grade II low-quality rice at Rp16,050 per kg. Meanwhile, grade I medium-quality rice was Rp16,550 per kg, and grade II medium-quality rice Rp17,000 per kg. Then, grade I super rice was Rp17,550 per kg, and grade II super rice Rp17,750 per kg. Furthermore, PIHPS recorded large red chilli prices at Rp62,250 per kg, curly red chilli at Rp58,850 per kg, and green cayenne chilli at Rp60,500 per kg. Subsequently, fresh broiler chicken meat was Rp43,800 per kg, grade I beef Rp148,250 per kg, and grade II beef Rp132,250 per kg. The next commodities included premium granulated sugar at Rp21,400 per kg and local granulated sugar at Rp19,950 per kg. Meanwhile, bulk cooking oil was priced at Rp20,700 per litre, branded packaged cooking oil grade I at Rp25,750 per litre, and branded packaged cooking oil grade II at Rp24,350 per litre.
