Monday: Jakarta Mobile Driving Licence Service Available Until Noon
Jakarta – The Mobile Driving Licence (SIM) service operated by the Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas) of the Metro Jaya Regional Police is available at five different locations across Jakarta on Monday.
According to information from the official X account @tmcppoldametro, the service is accessible to the public from 08:00 to 12:00 WIB at the following locations:
East Jakarta: Grand Cakung Mall
North Jakarta: LTC Glodok
South Jakarta: Trilogi Campus
West Jakarta: Citraland Mall
Central Jakarta: Lapangan Banteng Post Office
The mobile SIM outlet only provides renewal services for Class A and Class C driving licences that remain valid. If the licence has expired, the holder must submit an application for a new licence at the SIM Registration Office (Satpas) at Daan Mogot, West Jakarta.
Regarding renewal fees, in accordance with Government Regulation (PP) Number 76 of 2020 concerning Types and Rates of Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) applicable to the National Police, the fees are IDR80,000 for Class A and IDR75,000 for Class C.
In addition to these fees, applicants must also pay an additional fee for psychological testing of IDR37,500 and insurance of IDR50,000.
Meanwhile, Class B driving licence renewal can only be carried out at the SIM Registration Office due to different document requirements, as this licence is specifically for vehicles weighing over 3.5 tonnes.
