Moments Dadan Hindayana Wore the Pink Vest, Bowing His Head While Led to Detention Van

The former Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Dadan Hindayana, has been officially named a suspect by the Attorney General’s Office in relation to alleged corruption involving the buying and selling of service points within the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG). Following his interrogation and designation as a suspect, Dadan was immediately escorted by investigators from the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus). Dadan was seen wearing the pink detainee vest.

Upon exiting the Attorney General’s Office building, Dadan faced intense scrutiny from media personnel waiting at the scene. With his hands handcuffed, Dadan bowed his head before entering the detention vehicle. He remained silent as investigators led him away, and the vehicle promptly departed the Attorney General’s Office premises.

The case involving the former high-ranking BGN official surfaced after investigators from the Attorney General’s Office conducted searches at the agency’s office early in the morning. From that location, investigators are believed to have secured several findings pointing towards the illegal trading of SPPG points within the national nutrition fulfilment programme.

It was previously reported that the BGN office in Jakarta was searched by the Attorney General’s Office investigators on Wednesday, 3 June 2026. The news of the search was confirmed by the Acting Head of the Legal Information Centre of the Attorney General’s Office, Jefri, who stated that the investigation team from the Directorate of Special Crimes was conducting legal action at the BGN office.

This search comes amidst significant leadership changes within the BGN. On Tuesday night, 2 June 2026, President Prabowo implemented a leadership reshuffle for the agency, which serves as the spearhead for the national nutrition fulfilment programme. In the new structure, Nanik S. Deyang was appointed as the Head of the BGN, replacing Dadan Hindayana. Additionally, the Deputy Head positions are now held by Agustina Arumsari and Major General TNI Trenggono, replacing Lodewik Kusung and Soni Sanjaya, respectively.
