Moment of Camaraderie: Cabinet Secretary Teddy and US Attaché Share Ranger Tab Bond at Palace

A notable moment occurred during a meeting between President Prabowo Subianto and US Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Elbridge Colby at the Merdeka Palace in Central Jakarta on Wednesday. The interaction involved Cabinet Secretary Lieutenant Colonel (Inf) Teddy Indra Wijaya and US Defence Attaché Colonel Jacky Ly. When the two met, Jacky, who was in his daily service uniform, was seen wearing a Ranger tab on his left shoulder. The prestigious US Army qualification badge was pointed out by Teddy, as both men are graduates of the elite Ranger School. Teddy himself graduated from the program at Fort Benning, Georgia, in 2020 while holding the rank of Captain, completing the course with the 75th Ranger Regiment.
