Moment Five-Metre Boundary Wall at SMPN 182 Jakarta Collapses

A 5.3-metre boundary wall collapsed onto the grounds of SMPN 182 in Kalibata, South Jakarta, on Sunday (15 February).

The head of operations at the DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD), Isnawa Adji, said the wall was suspected to have collapsed due to unstable ground construction.

Isnawa confirmed there were no casualties in the incident.

However, the collapsed wall caused drainage channels to become blocked and the school’s parking area was affected.
