Taipei — Molicel has announced that its manufacturing facility has officially achieved Silver Status certification from the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA). This prestigious recognition represents a significant milestone in Molicel’s journey towards global sustainability and establishes the company as an industry leader in building an ethical supply chain.

The RBA is the world’s largest industry coalition focused on corporate social responsibility (CSR) in global supply chains. To obtain Silver Status, Molicel’s facility underwent the Validated Assessment Program (VAP), a rigorous independent field audit conducted by third-party assessors against strict standards.

The Silver Status certification demonstrates that Molicel has met high standards across five core pillars of the RBA Code of Conduct. Through the implementation of rigorous standards in labour practices, health and safety, Molicel ensures fair treatment and protection of physical wellbeing for all employees through internationally-certified safety protocols. Furthermore, the company’s commitment to environmental management and business ethics drives Molicel to continually reduce environmental impact whilst maintaining business integrity, including responsible sourcing practices for mineral raw materials.
