Mojtaba Khamenei affirms Iran will defend its nuclear technology
Tehran (ANTARA) - Tehran will protect its achievements in the nuclear sector and missile technology, said Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei on Thursday (30/4). “Ninety million Iranian citizens and brave and pious compatriots inside and outside the country regard all native potential, spiritual, human, scientific, and industrial, as well as new and fundamental technologies, from nano- and biotechnology to nuclear and rocket technology, as the nation’s wealth,” said Khamenei in his speech marking Persian Gulf Day. Iran’s Supreme Leader added that the country in the Persian Gulf region intends to protect all these achievements just as they defend land, sea, and air borders. Persian Gulf Day, a public holiday in the Islamic Republic of Iran, is commemorated to remember the expulsion of Portuguese colonial forces from the country’s southern coast nearly four centuries ago.
