Mojokerto man rapes his stepdaughter from primary school to adolescence, threatening to beat her if she resists

A man from Magersari District, Mojokerto City, identified by the initials EM (53), is accused of raping his stepdaughter from the third grade of primary school to adolescence. The suspect allegedly threatened to hit the victim if she reported the abuse. ‘The victim is under pressure because the suspect often beat the victim when she made mistakes,’ said AKP Mangara Panjaitan, head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of Mojokerto City Police, as quoted by DetikJatim on Thursday, 5 March 2026. The depraved acts began when the victim was in the third grade and continued as she turned 17. The rapes occurred at their home, with the suspect taking advantage of times when the house was quiet because the victim’s mother worked or left the house, or when the mother was resting, he added. EM’s offence was uncovered on Wednesday, 4 February, around 23:30 WIB, when the victim’s mother, RJ (51), surprised him abusing her daughter in the kitchen. KD, who had remained silent, eventually told all of her stepfather’s crimes. ‘From the incident, the victim eventually told her mother that she had become the victim of her stepfather’s sexual abuse since she was in the third grade,’ he said.
