Mohammad Abdul Ghani has been appointed as chief executive director of PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara. The former chief executive of PTPN III replaces Lieutenant General (Retired) Agus Sutomo, former commander of Kopassus, who was appointed to the position in March 2025.

Abdul Ghani’s name has been listed on the company’s official website, agrinaspalma.co.id, alongside other board members.

He previously retired from his position as Chief Executive Director of the Holding company PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) on 16 June 2025. He subsequently took on the role of Director of Plantation & Agriculture at Danantara Indonesia.

Abdul Ghani is a graduate of IPB University with a degree in Agricultural Economics (1980–1984) and holds a Master of Science degree from Gadjah Mada University (2007–2009), as well as a Doctor of Philosophy degree from Sumatera Utara University (2009–2015).
