News of global medical innovations arriving in Bali, she said, sparked high curiosity among expatriates and travellers. “I had an experience last May where a patient from abroad came for a skin booster and was surprised when I said that XERF technology, a non-invasive skin tightening technology famous in America, Europe, and Australia, would be available in Bali. They were enthusiastic,” said Dr Jesslyn Amelia, Sp.DVE, in Denpasar on Monday (29/6/2026). According to her, this enthusiasm is a sign that technology trending in developed countries is immediately sought after once it enters Bali. One of the beauty technologies that has finally landed in Bali is XERF, a machine with monopolar multi-frequency radio frequency technology from the United States and South Korea. As the head doctor at Elea Clinic Bali, Dr Jesslyn explained that this aesthetic machine works using multi-frequency waves with 6.78 MHz and 2 MHz monopolar RF. Its main function is for skin tightening, collagen reconstruction, and improving skin quality from the top layer to the deepest. Before deciding to bring this technology to her clinic, Dr Jesslyn had reviewed various scientific journals and personally tested the machine’s reliability for a year.
