Model banned from visiting Tommy

SEMARANG: Actress and model Sandy Harun has been banned from
visiting former president Soeharto's youngest son, Hutomo "Tommy"
Mandala Putra, who is serving a 15-year jail term on an island
prison in Cilacap regency, Central Java, an official said on
Thursday.

The head of the Central Java Justice and Human Rights Office,
Marsono, announced the ban during a hearing with Commission A of
the provincial legislative council.

He said Sandy, who divorced businessman Setiawan Djody in
1999, visited Tommy last month at Nusakambangan prison and stayed
for three days.

Marsono said he then ordered prison warden Sugiharyatmo to ban
the actress from visiting Tommy.

Tommy was jailed for 15 years for graft and for ordering the
murder of a judge. -- JP
