Mobile SIM services available at five Jakarta locations on Monday

Jakarta (ANTARA) — The Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya has opened mobile driving licence (SIM) service locations for members of the public wishing to renew the validity of their licences, a legal requirement for driving, in Jakarta on Monday.

Through the official X account of the Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Management Centre, it was announced that the service would be open from 08.00 to 14.00 WIB.

The service locations are as follows:

East Jakarta: Grand Cakung Mall field

North Jakarta: Main lobby of LTC Glodok

South Jakarta: Trilogi University car park

West Jakarta: South lobby of Ciputra Mall

Central Jakarta: Lapangan Banteng Post Office car park

Documents that must be brought to the mobile SIM service include an identity card (KTP) and the original SIM along with photocopies, an application form, and applicants must undergo a health test at the service point.

The service only handles renewals of SIM A and SIM C licences that are still valid.

Holders whose licences have expired must apply for a new licence at the Daan Mogt SIM testing office in West Jakarta.

As for renewal fees, in accordance with Government Regulation No. 60 of 2016 on Non-Tax State Revenue, the fee is Rp80,000 for SIM A renewal and Rp75,000 for SIM C renewal.
