SIM Renewal Fees
Government Regulation (PP) Number 60 of 2016 on Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) regulates SIM renewal fees. The following are the SIM renewal fees based on the regulation.
· SIM A: Rp 80,000
· SIM C: Rp 75,000
SIM Renewal Requirements
The public is urged to complete the following requirements so that SIM renewal applications can be processed.
· Bring original and photocopy of ID card (KTP)
· Bring original and photocopy of SIM
· Health certificate and psychological certificate
The mobile SIM service only processes renewal applications for SIM A (cars) and SIM C (motorcycles) that are still active or have not passed their validity period. This service cannot be used for new SIM applications, replacement of lost SIMs, or renewal of SIMs whose validity period has already expired.
If the SIM validity period has expired, the SIM holder must apply for a new SIM at the Satpas office because renewal through the mobile SIM service can no longer be done. The key point emphasised is to ensure that the SIM validity period has not expired if you wish to use the mobile SIM service.
