Mobile SIM service available at five locations

The Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya has opened a Mobile Driving Licence (SIM) service at five locations for residents who wish to renew the validity of their driving licences and comply with the legal driving requirements in Jakarta, on Wednesday. Through the official X account of Polda Metro Jaya’s Traffic Management Centre (TMC), it was informed that this service operates from 08:00 to 14:00 WIB. The following are the service locations: East Jakarta: Front lobby of Grand Cakung Mall; North Jakarta: Main lobby of LTC Glodok; South Jakarta: Parking area of Universitas Trilogi; West Jakarta: South lobby of Mall Ciputra; Central Jakarta: Parking at Lapangan Banteng Post Office. Documents required for SIM Keliling include the KTP and the original SIM with photocopy, the application form, and attendance at the health check at the service site. This service only handles renewals for valid SIM A and SIM C. For SIM holders whose validity has expired, applicants must apply for a new SIM at the Daan Mogot SATPAS in West Jakarta. For renewal costs, in accordance with Government Regulation No. 60 of 2016 on Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP), the fees are Rp80,000 for SIM A and Rp75,000 for SIM C.
