Mobile SIM Extension Service Locations in Jakarta on Saturday

The Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas) of the Jakarta Metro Police is opening mobile driving licence (SIM) extension services at five locations in Jakarta on Saturday for residents wishing to renew the validity of their legal driving permits. Quoted from the official X account @tmcpoldametro, the service is open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Western Indonesian Time at the following locations: East Jakarta: Front lobby of Mall Grand Cakung; North Jakarta: Main lobby of LTC Glodok; South Jakarta: Parking area beside Trilogi University; West Jakarta: South Lobby of Mall Ciputra; Central Jakarta: Parking area of the Lapangan Banteng Post Office. Mobile SIM counters only serve extensions for SIMs that are still valid for specific categories, namely SIM A and SIM C. If the validity period of the SIM has expired, the holder must apply for a new SIM at a location designated by the police. Regarding extension fees, in accordance with Government Regulation (PP) Number 76 of 2020 on Types and Rates of Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) applicable to the National Police, the cost is Rp80,000 for SIM A and Rp75,000 for SIM C. In addition to these fees, applicants must also pay additional costs for psychological and health tests via the Simpel Pol application.
