Members of the public are required to bring the original identity card (KTP) of the vehicle owner, the vehicle ownership book (BPKB), and the vehicle registration certificate (STNK), each accompanied by a photocopy. Additionally, taxpayers must not have any outstanding motor vehicle tax arrears exceeding one year.

These mobile outlets only serve annual motor vehicle tax (PKB) payments. For five-year tax renewals and vehicle plate replacements, taxpayers must visit the nearest Samsat office in person.

As an alternative, residents can also utilise the National Digital Samsat (SIGNAL) application to assist with PKB payments. The SIGNAL application can be used to pay motor vehicle taxes online across 33 provinces via mobile phone, with the STNK documents being delivered directly to the user’s address.

However, this application cannot be used by vehicle owners with tax arrears of more than one year. Those with arrears exceeding one year must still visit the nearest Samsat office.
