Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Metro Jaya Regional Police are providing mobile Samsat (Single Administration System) services to assist taxpayers with motor vehicle tax (PKB) payments across the Jakarta, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Jadetabek) areas on Wednesday. According to the official X account of TMC Polda Metro Jaya, the 14 service locations are as follows: Central Jakarta at the Samsat car park and Lapangan Banteng from 08:00 to 14:00 WIB; North Jakarta at the Samsat car park and Al Musyawarah Mosque in Kelapa Gading from 08:00 to 14:00 WIB; West Jakarta at Mall Citraland from 08:00 to 14:00 WIB; South Jakarta at the Samsat car park from 09:00 to 15:00 WIB and the Sarinah warehouse in Cikoko Pancoran from 09:00 to 14:00 WIB; East Jakarta at the Cipayung Sub-district Office and Kramat Jati Wholesale Market from 08:00 to 14:00 WIB; Tangerang City at Alun-alun Cibodas and the Busway Foodmosphere car park from 08:00 to 13:00 WIB; Serpong at the Samsat car park from 08:00 to 14:00 WIB and ITC BSD Serpong Mall from 16:00 to 18:00 WIB; Ciledug at Pasar Modern Banjar Wijaya Cipondoh and Metland Cyber City Cipondoh from 09:00 to 14:00 WIB; Ciputat at the Samsat car park and Pondok Betung Sub-district Office from 09:00 to 12:00 WIB; Kelapa Dua at Hal G Town Square Gading Serpong from 08:00 to 14:00 WIB; Bekasi City at Danau Duta Harapan from 08:00 to 12:00 WIB; Bekasi Regency at the Tamansari Setu Village Head Office from 09:00 to 12:00 WIB and the Samsat office car park from 18:00 to 20:00 WIB; Depok at the Samsat car park from 08:00 to 13:00 WIB and the Tajur Halang Sub-district Office from 09:00 to 11:30 WIB; and Cinere at the Pondok Petir Sub-district Office car park from 08:00 to 12:00 WIB. Several requirements must be observed before paying vehicle tax, including bringing original documents such as the identity card (KTP), vehicle ownership document (BPKB), and vehicle registration certificate (STNK), along with photocopies. The mobile Samsat outlets only serve annual vehicle tax payments; five-yearly STNK renewal and number plate replacement must be done at the nearest Samsat office. In addition, it is important to continue implementing health protocols to prevent the spread of Covid-19, with taxpayers required to wear masks, wash hands, and maintain physical distance.
