Mobile Samsat Service Opens at Bundaran HI Today
The Metro Jaya Regional Police have opened a mobile One-Roof Integrated Administration System (Samsat Keliling) service at Bundaran Hotel Indonesia (HI) today, Sunday, as part of the Car Free Day (HBKB) celebrations.
According to the official X account of TMC Polda Metro Jaya, the service for taxpayers wishing to pay their motor vehicle tax (PKB) is located next to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel and is available from 06:00 to 10:00 WIB. This mobile service is operational on the first Sunday of every month.
Required documents include the original identity card (KTP) of the vehicle owner, the vehicle ownership book (BPKB), and the vehicle registration certificate (STNK), each accompanied by a photocopy. An additional requirement is that applicants must not have any outstanding motor vehicle tax arrears exceeding one year.
The mobile Samsat stall only facilitates annual motor vehicle tax payments. For five-year tax renewals and vehicle number plate replacements, taxpayers must visit their nearest Samsat office in person.
Alternatively, the SIGNAL application can be used to pay motor vehicle tax online across 33 provinces via mobile phone, with the STNK documents subsequently delivered to the applicant’s address. However, this application is unavailable to vehicle owners with tax arrears of more than one year; such individuals must complete their payments directly at a Samsat office.
