Mobile Samsat locations in Greater Jakarta area for Saturday
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Metro Jaya Regional Police are continuing to operate mobile Samsat (Single Administration System) units in the Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Detabek) areas on Saturday for taxpayers wishing to pay their annual motor vehicle tax (PKB).
Meanwhile, there will be no mobile Samsat services in the DKI Jakarta area and Bekasi Regency.
The official X account of TMC Polda Metro Jaya @tmcpoldametro in Jakarta provided the following details:

Residents are required to bring the original vehicle owner’s identity card (KTP), vehicle ownership document (BPKB), and vehicle registration certificate (STNK), each accompanied by a photocopy, and must not have motor vehicle tax arrears exceeding one year.
The mobile Samsat outlets only serve annual motor vehicle tax payments. For five-yearly tax payments and number plate replacements, residents must visit the nearest Samsat office in person.
As an alternative, residents can also use the Samsat Digital Nasional (SIGNAL) application to settle their motor vehicle tax payments. The SIGNAL app can be used to pay vehicle tax online across 33 provinces via mobile phone, and the STNK document will be sent to the owner’s address. However, this application cannot be used by vehicle owners who have tax arrears of more than one year. Those with tax arrears exceeding one year must still visit the nearest Samsat office.
