These mobile Samsat outlets only process annual vehicle tax payments. Five-yearly tax payments and number plate replacements must be completed directly at the nearest main Samsat office. As an alternative, the public can use the Samsat Digital Nasional (SIGNAL) app to pay annual vehicle tax online in 33 provinces, with the registration documents subsequently delivered to the applicant’s address. However, the app cannot be used by vehicle owners who have tax arrears exceeding one year; such cases must be settled in person at a Samsat office.
