Cost of SIM renewal

Government Regulation (PP) No. 60 of 2016 on Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) governs SIM renewal fees. The renewal fees are as follows:

• SIM A: Rp 80,000

• SIM C: Rp 75,000

Requirements for SIM renewal

Residents are advised to complete the following requirements to ensure the renewal application can be processed:

• Bring the original and photocopy of the KTP (identity card)

• Bring the original and photocopy of the SIM

• Health Certificate and Psychology Certificate

Mobile SIM Services only handle renewal applications for SIM A (car) and SIM C (motorcycle) that are still active or have not expired. This service cannot be used for new SIM issuance, replacement of a lost SIM, or renewal of an expired licence (expired).

If the licence has expired, the holder must obtain a new SIM at the SATPAS office because renewal via Mobile SIM is no longer possible. The service aims to simplify renewing active licences in a fast and practical manner. The key point emphasised is to ensure the licence is not expired if you wish to use the Mobile SIM service.
