Mobile Driving Licence Services Open at Five Jakarta Locations

Jakarta — The Traffic Directorate of the Metro Jaya Police has opened mobile Driving Licence (SIM) renewal service locations for citizens wishing to renew their driving permits and meet legal requirements for vehicle operation in Jakarta on Thursday.

Through the official X account of TMC Polda Metro Jaya, the service operates from 08:00 to 14:00 WIB.

The service locations are as follows:

East Jakarta: Gatot Subroto Kopassus Field

North Jakarta: Main lobby of LTC Glodok

South Jakarta: Universitas Trilogi car park

West Jakarta: South lobby of Ciputra Mall

Central Jakarta: Car park of Lapangan Banteng Post Office

Required documents for the mobile SIM service include original identity card (KTP) and driving licence with photocopies, application form, and completion of a health examination at the service location.

The service only handles renewals for SIM A and SIM C licences that remain valid. Holders of SIM licences whose validity has expired must submit an application for a new SIM at the SIM Office (Satpas) at Daan Mogot, West Jakarta.

Regarding renewal fees, in accordance with Government Regulation Number 60 of 2016 concerning Non-Tax State Revenue, the fee is IDR 80,000 for SIM A renewal and IDR 75,000 for SIM C renewal.
