Mobile Driving Licence Services Available at Five Jakarta Locations on Tuesday

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Traffic Directorate of the Metro Jaya Regional Police has opened mobile driving licence (SIM) service points in Jakarta on Tuesday for members of the public seeking to renew their licences, which are required to drive legally.

The official TMC Polda Metro Jaya account on X said the service would operate from 08:00 to 14:00 WIB. The locations are:

• East Jakarta: Grand Cakung Mall field

• North Jakarta: main lobby of LTC Glodok

• South Jakarta: Trilogi University car park

• West Jakarta: south lobby of Ciputra Mall

• Central Jakarta: Lapangan Banteng Post Office car park

Applicants must bring their original identity card (KTP) and driving licence (SIM), along with photocopies, and a completed application form. They must also undergo a health test at the service point.

The service is only available for renewing valid Class A and Class C licences. Holders of expired licences must apply for a new one at the Daan Mogot Driving Licence Administration Unit (Satpas SIM) in West Jakarta.

Under Government Regulation No. 60 of 2016 on Non-Tax State Revenue, the renewal fee is Rp80,000 for a Class A licence and Rp75,000 for a Class C licence.
