Mobile Driving Licence Services Available at Five Jakarta Locations on Tuesday

Jakarta (ANTARA) – The Traffic Directorate of the Jakarta Metro Police is operating mobile driving licence (SIM) services for residents wishing to renew their licences, a legal requirement for driving, in Jakarta on Tuesday.

The official X account of the Jakarta Metro Police’s Traffic Management Centre (TMC) said the service would be open from 08:00 to 14:00 WIB. The locations are:

East Jakarta: Grand Cakung Mall field

North Jakarta: main lobby of LTC Glodok

South Jakarta: Trilogi University car park

West Jakarta: south lobby of Ciputra Mall

Central Jakarta: Lapangan Banteng Post Office car park

Applicants must bring their original national identity card (KTP) and driving licence (SIM), along with photocopies, and a completed application form. They must also undergo a health check at the service outlet.

The service is only available for renewals of valid Class A and Class C licences. Holders whose licences have expired must apply for a new licence at the Daan Mogot driving licence centre (Satpas SIM Daan Mogot) in West Jakarta.

Under Government Regulation No. 60 of 2016 on Non-Tax State Revenue, renewal fees are Rp80,000 for a Class A licence and Rp75,000 for a Class C licence.
