Mobile Driving Licence Services Available at Five Jakarta Locations on Monday

Jakarta (ANTARA) – The Traffic Directorate of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police is providing mobile driving licence (SIM) services at five locations across Jakarta on Monday for residents wishing to renew their licences, which are required to drive legally.

The official X account of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police’s Traffic Management Centre (TMC) said the service will be open from 8am to 2pm Western Indonesian Time (WIB). The locations are:

East Jakarta: Grand Cakung Mall field

North Jakarta: main lobby, LTC Glodok

South Jakarta: Trilogi University car park

West Jakarta: south lobby, Ciputra Mall

Central Jakarta: car park, Lapangan Banteng Post Office

Applicants must bring their original identity card (KTP) and driving licence (SIM), along with photocopies and an application form. They must also undergo a health test at the service point.

The service handles renewals only for valid Class A and Class C driving licences. Holders whose licences have expired must apply for a new licence at the Daan Mogot Driving Licence Administration Unit (Satpas SIM) in West Jakarta.

Under Government Regulation No. 60 of 2016 on non-tax state revenue, renewal fees are Rp80,000 for a Class A licence and Rp75,000 for a Class C licence.
