Mobile Driving Licence Service Locations in Jakarta Today, Note the Requirements and Costs

Jakarta, 24 May 2026 — The Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Directorate is opening mobile Driving Licence (SIM) services at several locations across Jakarta today.

The service is intended for the public wishing to renew their driving licence validity as a legal requirement for operating vehicles.

Service locations:

• East Jakarta: Jalan Raden Intan Kalimalang, beside McDonald’s Duren Sawit

• West Jakarta: Jalan Panjang, beside Indomaret Kebon Jeruk

To renew a driving licence, citizens are required to bring several documents, including original identity card (KTP) and driving licence along with photocopies, complete an application form, and undergo a health test at the service location.

Holders of driving licences whose validity has expired are required to apply for a new SIM at the Daan Mogot SIM office in West Jakarta.

The cost of renewing a driving licence is set according to Government Regulation Number 60 of 2016 concerning State Revenue Other Than Tax (PNBP), at 80,000 rupiah for category A licences and 75,000 rupiah for category C licences.
