Mobile Driving Licence Service Locations in Jakarta This Monday

Jakarta (ANTARA) — The Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas) of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police (Polda Metro Jaya) continues to provide mobile driving licence (SIM) services at five locations across Jakarta to assist residents in renewing their driving permits on Monday.

Polda Metro Jaya announced via its X account @tmcpoldametro that the mobile SIM counters are open from 08:00 to 14:00 Western Indonesian Time (WIB).

The locations are as follows:

East Jakarta: Front lobby of Grand Cakung Mall West Jakarta: Main lobby of LTC Glodok and South lobby of Ciputra Mall South Jakarta: Side car park area of Trilogi University Central Jakarta: Car park area of the Lapangan Banteng Post Office

Applicants must prepare and complete the required documents and administrative fees before visiting the renewal locations.

The required documents include a valid photocopy of the national identity card (KTP), the original and still-valid existing driving licence, a health examination certificate, and proof of a psychological test completed through the Simpel Pol application.

The mobile SIM service can only process renewals for licences that are still valid, and only for specific categories — namely Class A (car) and Class C (motorcycle) licences.

For licences that have expired, even by a single day, holders must apply for a new driving licence at locations designated by the police.

Regarding renewal fees, in accordance with Government Regulation (PP) No. 76 of 2020 on Types and Tariffs of Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) applicable to the National Police, the cost is Rp80,000 for Class A licence renewal and Rp75,000 for Class C licence renewal.

In addition to these fees, applicants must also pay supplementary charges for the psychological test and health examination through the Simpel Pol application.
