Mobile Driving Licence Service Available in Gianyar: Check Schedule and Location for 30 August 2026

The Mobile Driving Licence (SIM Keliling) service is once again available in the Gianyar area. This service makes it easier to renew SIM A and SIM C licences without having to go to the SIM Administration Unit (Satpas) office.

Driving Licence Renewal Fees

Government Regulation (PP) Number 60 of 2016 on Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) sets out the fees for driving licence renewal. The renewal fees under the regulation are as follows:

· SIM A: Rp 80,000

· SIM C: Rp 75,000

Driving Licence Renewal Requirements

The public is advised to prepare the following requirements so that a driving licence renewal application can be processed:

· Bring the original and a photocopy of the national identity card (KTP)

· Bring the original and a photocopy of the driving licence (SIM)

· A health certificate and a psychological certificate

The Mobile SIM service only processes renewal applications for SIM A (cars) and SIM C (motorcycles) that are still valid or have not passed their expiry date. This service cannot be used to make a new driving licence, replace a lost driving licence, or renew a driving licence whose validity period has already expired.

If a driving licence has already expired, the holder must apply for a new licence at the Satpas office because renewal through the Mobile SIM service is no longer possible. The key point emphasised is to ensure that the driving licence has not expired if you wish to use the Mobile SIM service.
