Mobile Driving Licence Service Available at Two Locations in Bali on Thursday, 12 March 2026

The mobile Driving Licence (SIM) service will be available in Badung, Tabanan, and Buleleng on Thursday, 12 March 2026. This service facilitates the swift renewal of SIM A and SIM C licences without requiring visits to the SATPAS (Driving Licence Administration Unit) office.

Residents wishing to renew their driving licences quickly and conveniently can visit the mobile SIM service at the following locations:

Mobile SIM Service – Tabanan

Location: Coco Mart Kampung Lot Beraban

Service Hours: 08:00 Wita onwards

Mobile SIM Service – Buleleng

Location: Penyabangan Village, Gerokgak District

Service Hours: To be confirmed

Driving Licence Renewal Fees

Government Regulation (PP) Number 60 of 2016 on State Revenue Other Than Taxes (PNBP) sets the fees for SIM renewal:

• SIM A: Rp 80,000

• SIM C: Rp 75,000

Requirements for SIM Renewal

Residents are advised to complete the following documentation to ensure their renewal applications are processed:

• Original and photocopy of ID card (KTP)

• Original and photocopy of driving licence

• Medical clearance certificate and psychological assessment certificate

• Personal pen

The mobile SIM service only processes renewal requests for SIM A (motorcars) and SIM C (motorcycles) that remain valid or have not yet expired. The service cannot be used for:

• Issuing new driving licences

• Replacing lost licences

• Renewing expired licences

If a driving licence has expired, the owner must apply for a new licence at the SATPAS office, as mobile SIM renewal is no longer available. The service is designed to facilitate convenient renewal of active licences through a quick and practical process. A key point emphasised is ensuring the licence has not expired before using the mobile SIM service.
