Mobile Driving Licence Service Available at Five Locations in Jakarta on Saturday

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Directorate of Traffic of the Metro Jaya Regional Police provides the Mobile Driving Licence service at five locations in Jakarta, to help residents extend the validity of the driving permit, on Saturday, from 08:00 to 11:00 WIB.

Through the official X (Twitter) account of the Metro Jaya Police’s Traffic Monitoring Center (TMC), the service is located at:

East Jakarta: Front lobby of Grand Cakung Mall

South Jakarta: Parking area beside Trilogi Kalibata University

North Jakarta: Main lobby LTC Glodok

Central Jakarta: Parking area of Lapangan Banteng Post Office

West Jakarta: Parking area of Citraland Mall

To access and be served in this SIM Keliling facility, the community must prepare and complete the required documents and the administrative fees before visiting the SIM document renewal location.

For SIMs whose validity has expired, the licence holder must apply for a new SIM at a place designated by the police. For renewal fees, in accordance with Government Regulation No. 60 of 2016 on Non-Tax State Revenue, it is Rp80,000 for SIM A renewals and Rp75,000 for SIM C renewals.

As for SIM B, renewal cannot be performed at the SIM Keliling service, but must be renewed at the Satuan Penyelenggara Administrasi SIM (Satpas) office due to the different allocation of the document. The SIM B document is intended for vehicles weighing more than 3.5 tonnes.
