Mobile Driving Licence Service Available at Five Locations in Jakarta on Friday

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Jakarta Metropolitan Police Traffic Directorate is providing mobile driving licence (SIM) renewal services at five locations in Jakarta on Friday for residents who wish to extend the validity of their driving permits.

According to the official TMC Polda Metro Jaya X (Twitter) account, the service is available from 08:00 to 14:00 WIB at the following locations:

East Jakarta: Lobby in front of Grand Cakung Mall

South Jakarta: Parking area beside Trilogi Kalibata University

North Jakarta: Main lobby of LTC Glodok

Central Jakarta: Parking area of the Lapangan Banteng Post Office

West Jakarta: Parking area in the lobby of the Binus Anggrek Campus

The mobile SIM renewal service only caters to the renewal of driving licences that are still valid for specific categories, namely SIM A and SIM C. If the validity of the driving licence has expired, the owner must submit an application for a new driving licence at a location designated by the police.

Regarding the renewal fee, in accordance with Government Regulation (PP) Number 60 of 2016 concerning Non-Tax State Revenue, the fee is IDR 80,000 for SIM A and IDR 75,000 for SIM C.

Meanwhile, the renewal of SIM B can only be done at the Satuan Penyelenggara Administrasi SIM (Satpas) office due to differences in documentation, given that this type of licence is specifically for vehicles weighing more than 3.5 tons.
