Mobile Driving Licence Service Arrives in Gianyar: Schedule for Sunday, 24 May 2026

The mobile Driving Licence (SIM) service will be available in Gianyar on Sunday, 24 May 2026. This service is designed to facilitate the renewal process for Class A and Class C driving licences without requiring visits to the main SATPAS office.

Driving Licence Renewal Fees

Government Regulation (PP) Number 60 of 2016 concerning Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) has established the fees for driving licence renewal. The following are the renewal fees in accordance with this regulation:

· Class A Licence: Rp 80,000

· Class C Licence: Rp 75,000

Requirements for Driving Licence Renewal

Citizens are advised to prepare the following documents to ensure their renewal applications can be processed:

· Original and photocopied national identity card (KTP)

· Original and photocopied driving licence

· Medical fitness certificate and psychological health certificate

· Personal pen

The mobile SIM service only handles renewal applications for Class A licences (for cars) and Class C licences (motorcycles) that remain valid or have not yet expired. The service cannot be used for:

· Issuance of new driving licences

· Replacement of lost driving licences

· Renewal of expired driving licences

If a driving licence has expired, the owner must apply for a new licence at the main SATPAS office (Driving Licence Administration Unit), as renewal through the mobile SIM service can no longer be processed. This service aims to facilitate the renewal of active driving licences in a quick and straightforward manner.
