The mobile driver’s licence (SIM) service has returned to the Badung region. This service is implemented to simplify the renewal process for SIM A and SIM C without the need to visit the SIM Administration Unit (Satpas) office.

Citizens wishing to process their licence renewals quickly and practically can directly visit the nearest mobile SIM service. The schedule and locations for the Badung mobile SIM service today, Wednesday, 3 June 2026, are as follows:

Driver’s Licence Renewal Fees

Government Regulation (PP) Number 60 of 2016 concerning Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) regulates the costs for SIM renewals. Based on this regulation, the renewal fees are:

• SIM A: Rp 80,000

• SIM C: Rp 75,000

Renewal Requirements

Members of the public are advised to complete the following requirements to ensure their renewal applications can be processed:

• Bring original KTP (ID Card) and a photocopy

• Bring original SIM and a photocopy

• Health Certificate and Psychological Certificate

The mobile SIM service only handles renewal applications for SIM A (for cars) and SIM C (for motorcycles) that are still active or have not yet passed their expiry date. This service cannot be used for new licence applications, replacing lost licences, or renewing licences that have already expired.

If a licence has expired, the holder must apply for a new licence at the Satpas office, as renewal via the mobile service is no longer possible. It is crucial to ensure that the licence validity has not lapsed before utilising the mobile SIM service.
