Mobile Driver's License Service Schedule for Klungkung and Karangasem, 2 September 2026: Note the Locations!
The Mobile Driver’s License (SIM) service is once again available in the Klungkung, Karangasem, and Badung regions. This service facilitates the renewal process for SIM A and SIM C without the need to visit the Driver’s License Administration Office (Satpas).

Mobile SIM Klungkung, 2 September 2026
Location: In front of the Klungkung Regent’s Office & Nusa Penida Sub-Samsat Office

Driver’s License Renewal Fees
Government Regulation (PP) Number 60 of 2016 regarding Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) regulates the costs for driver’s license renewals. The fees based on this regulation are as follows:
• SIM A: IDR 80,000
• SIM C: IDR 75,000
Renewal Requirements
Members of the public are advised to complete the following requirements to ensure their renewal applications can be processed:
• Bring original ID card (KTP) and a photocopy
• Bring original Driver’s License (SIM) and a photocopy
• Provide a medical certificate and a psychological certificate
Mobile SIM services only handle renewal applications for SIM A (cars) and SIM C (motorcycles) that are still active or have not yet expired. This service cannot be used for new driver’s license applications, replacing lost licenses, or renewing licenses that have already passed their expiry date.
If the driver’s license has already expired, owners must apply for a new license at the Satpas office, as renewal via the mobile service is no longer possible. It is crucial to ensure that the license validity period has not ended before utilising the mobile SIM service.
