Mobile Driver's Licence Services Open at Five Locations in Jakarta on Tuesday

The Jakarta Metropolitan Police Traffic Directorate has opened mobile driver’s licence (SIM) services for members of the public wishing to renew their licences in accordance with legal driving requirements in Jakarta on Tuesday.

According to the official X account of TMC Polda Metro Jaya, the service is operational from 08:00 to 14:00 WIB.

The service locations are as follows:

East Jakarta: Grand Cakung Mall field

North Jakarta: Main lobby of LTC Glodok

South Jakarta: Trilogi University car park

West Jakarta: South Lobby of Ciputra Mall

Central Jakarta: Lapangan Banteng Post Office car park

Documents that must be brought to the mobile service include the original ID card (KTP) and original driver’s licence along with photocopies, an application form, and completion of a health test at the service booth.

This service only handles the renewal of valid Class A and Class C licences. Holders of expired licences must apply for a new licence at the Daan Mogot SIM Satpas in West Jakarta.

Regarding renewal fees, in accordance with Government Regulation Number 60 of 2016 concerning Non-Tax State Revenue, the cost is Rp80,000 for Class A renewals and Rp75,000 for Class C renewals.
