Licence Extension Fees
Government Regulation (PP) Number 60 of 2016 regarding Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) regulates the costs for licence extensions. The fees based on this regulation are as follows:
• Class A: Rp 80,000
• Class C: Rp 75,000
Extension Requirements
Members of the public are advised to complete the following requirements so that their extension applications can be processed:
• Bring original ID card (KTP) and a photocopy
• Bring original licence (SIM) and a photocopy
• Health certificate and psychological certificate
The mobile SIM service only handles extension requests for Class A (cars) and Class C (motorcycles) licences that are still active or have not yet passed their expiry date. This service cannot be used for new licence applications, replacing lost licences, or extending licences that have already expired.
If the licence has already expired, owners must apply for a new licence at the Satpas office, as extensions via the mobile service are no longer possible. It is crucial to ensure the validity period has not ended before using the mobile SIM service.
