Mitsubishi Estate Introduces New and Largest Shopping Centre in Bali
Sira Village is set to feature over 100 global brands, blending a shopping concept with sea views, Balinese culture, and open-air culinary areas. The development is scheduled to begin operations and welcome visitors on 3lar 31 July 2026.
Developed alongside Kura Kura Bali, this destination reflects a growing confidence in Bali as more than just a tourist spot, but as a world-class destination offering a blend of lifestyle, culture, and authentic experiences. “The arrival of Sira Village reflects our vision to create a destination where global lifestyle experiences and Balinese cultural identity can coexist harmoniously,” stated Tuti Hadiputranto, President Director of Kura Kura Bali.
Located within the Kura Kura Bali Special Economic Zone (SEZ), Sira Village is situated approximately 20 minutes from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport via the Bali Mandara Toll Road and the Ngurah Rai Bypass. This strategic connectivity provides easy access between the main gateway for tourists, Bali’s tourism zones, and a destination projected to become one of the island’s most iconic lifestyle landmarks.
Sira Village is designed to be more than a standard shopping destination, integrating fashion, architecture, sea breezes, and Bali’s sunset charm into an immersive experience. The centre will house over 100 renowned international brands such as Kate Spade, Calvin Klein, Lacoste, Tommy Hilfiger, Adidas, Puma, and Nike, making it the largest outlet shopping centre in Bali. The project also introduces brands previously unavailable in Bali or Indonesia, including the Kinokuniya bookstore and the first Hazelwood outlet in the country.
Operating on an outlet concept, Sira Village offers premium brands with year-round discounts, making luxury shopping more inclusive for both domestic and international tourists. Amidst the international brands, local character is highlighted through Alun-Alun Indonesia, a retail outlet showcasing the best local products from across the archipelago, alongside curated Balinese brands. Visitors can also enjoy traditional Balinese performances and interactive art exhibitions.
Sustainability is a core pillar for Sira Village, which is currently in the process of obtaining the BCA Green Mark Gold Certification. This is reflected in its eco-friendly architecture, efficient operations, and sustainable environmental management. Mitsubishi Estate refers to this approach as the ‘Second Life’ philosophy, extending the lifecycle of quality products through an outlet shopping centre while encouraging more mindful consumption.
“We are very enthusiastic about expanding Mitsubishi Estate’s footprint through this iconic project in Bali, a destination recognised worldwide. Our presence within this prestigious Special Economic Zone is a rare opportunity to strengthen our premium portfolio while contributing to a dynamic future for Indonesia’s tourism and retail sectors,” said Yoshinori Nakamura, President Director of PT Mitsubishi Estate Indonesia (MEI).
As Bali transforms from a tourist destination into a global lifestyle hub, Sira Village is expected to drive economic growth, create job opportunities for local communities, and reinforce Bali’s position as a premium shopping and lifestyle destination in Southeast Asia.
