Missing Woman from Sasakpanjang, Bogor Found; Here Is Her Condition

An Indonesian woman from Sasakpanjang, Tajurhalang District, Bogor, named Fairuz Khairunnisa (28), who had been reported missing, has been found. The woman, familiarly called Fay, has returned home.

‘She has indeed returned home. This morning at around 07:00 WIB, I received a WhatsApp message from staff at the Panti Sosial Cipayung in East Jakarta (Jaktim),’ Fay’s father, Tian Arief, said on Saturday (23 May 2026).

At that time, officers informed him that they had received a woman from a hospital in North Jakarta on Friday night (22 May). He then went to the welfare home, located in Ceger, East Jakarta, with his wife and a friend, by car, to confirm.

Fay was then escorted to the home by two staff from the welfare home. When he met his daughter, she appeared extremely fatigued and walked with a slight limp. Fay also looked thinner.

‘My feet had abrasions on the heels, and my hands were scraped. The administrator of the home said this was due to a fall,’ he described, recounting her condition when he first encountered her after she had disappeared.

When asked where she had been during the disappearance, Fay answered only in fragments, so he still did not know exactly where Fay had been over the two days.

‘Her ability to communicate is indeed very limited. Therefore the full chronology of Fay’s two-night adventure remains a mystery,’ he said.

Earlier, a woman named Fairuz Khairunnisa (28) was reported missing. The family had been searching for her.

‘She hasn’t been found; today we have been wandering around, following streets,’ Fay’s father, Tian Arief, said on Thursday (21 May).

The family had also filed a missing person report at Tajurhalang Police Sector. Fay left her home in Sasakpanjang Permai, Block J4 No 20, Tajurhalang, Bogor Regency, West Java, at around 13:18 WIB today.

Based on CCTV footage in the neighbourhood, Fay was seen leaving alone. She was seen wearing a white short-sleeved T-shirt with the word ‘Italia’ on it, training trousers, and carrying a crossbody bag.
