Missing merchandise

Missing merchandise

From Bisnis Indonesia

PT Asindo Gryatama built and owns a shopping center in
Panakukang Mas, Ujungpandang. I rented shop number 16 and 17 and
was the first person to contract the facilities from them.

In September 1994 I was sent to attend a Congress of Tarbiyah
(Educational) Women's Unity in Jakarta. After I returned to
Ujungpandang I held a marriage ceremony for my daughter. While I
was busy, my merchandise was taken out of my store without my
knowledge. I don't know where the goods are. Mr. Sugianto, under
the orders of Bapak Asis who is responsible for Pasar Mirah,
carried out the operation.

I protested to Bapak Asis, but he said that he was not aware
of the incident and that he had dismissed Sugianto for embezzling
Rp 5 million and for many other mistakes.

I found out later that there is a regulation stating that the
shops in Pasar Mirah must remain open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. I
have forwarded a list of my missing merchandise to the authority
concerned, but there is no solution in sight. I feel I have been
publicly ridiculed.

I sincerely hope that PT Asindo Griyatama will solve my
problem.
