A woman with the initials YTT (29), who had been missing for three years, has been found with severe injuries and is being treated at Hasan Sadikin Hospital in Bandung. The victim, from Bandung Regency, is suspected of being a victim of kidnapping and abuse by her male acquaintance, TH.

The case was reported to the West Java Regional Police by the victim’s older sibling on Friday (12/6/2026). West Java Police Public Relations Head, Commissioner Hendra Rochmawan, confirmed that the victim had reported the incident to the police.

He said the victim’s sibling received a WhatsApp message from an unknown number informing them that their sister was in the emergency department of Hasan Sadikin Hospital in Bandung. After receiving the information, the sibling went to the hospital and found their sister with severe injuries.

“The victim was in a state of severe injury to the head, face, and legs, and minor injuries to the hands,” he said on Tuesday (16/6/2026).

He stated that over the past three years, the family had no knowledge of the victim’s whereabouts as she had not been in contact and was considered missing. During those three years, the victim is suspected of being abused by the perpetrator TH using blunt objects and sharp weapons.

“It is suspected that during that period, she received abusive treatment from the reported party using hands, blunt objects, and sharp weapons, and the victim’s valuables are missing,” he said.
