Miss Universe 1993 due here tomorrow

JAKARTA (JP): Dayanara Torres, Miss Universe 1993 of Puerto
Rico, is scheduled to arrive here tomorrow for a five-day visit
during which she will take part in a number of social activities.

Dayanara's visit is at the invitation of Kim Thong Bridal
House, the Indonesian Stroke Foundation and PT Emerald
Reksagemilang. She will attend a fashion show at the Shangri-La
Hotel on May 26 and on May 27 will participate in the 17th
anniversary celebration of Kim Thong Bridal House at the Emerald
Hotel.

The fashion show, entitled "Style of Love Haute Couture
Fashion Show", will be held in cooperation with Indonesian Stroke
Foundation, to which the funds raised from the show will be
donated.

"I have designed a traditional Indonesian dress especially for
Danayana to wear on stage," Kim Thong of Kim Thong Bridal House
said yesterday.

Dayanara is also scheduled to visit the Astro Cafe in the
Jakarta Trade Mart Building, Cipto Mangunkusumo general hospital,
PT Mustika Ratu's cosmetics factory, Bintaro Jaya housing complex
in South Jakarta and the Right Place Discotheque at the Emerald
Hotel.

"Social activities always follow every Miss Universe visit to
any country," said Felix Robert of PT Emerald Reksagemilang.

On May 28, prior to Dayanara's departure, the celebrity will
be given a farewell dinner at the Arirang Korean Barbeque
Restaurant. (31)
