Mirae Asset Sekuritas Office Raided by OJK, Here Is the Company's Profile
PT Mirae Asset Sekuritas Indonesia (MASI) office was raided by investigators from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) together with the Criminal Investigation Department (Bareskrim) of the Indonesian Police on Wednesday, 4 March 2026. The raid was conducted in connection with an investigation into alleged stock manipulation of PT Berkah Beton Sadaya Tbk (BEBS). Investigators suspect manipulation in the trading of the stock, with a price surge of around 7,150 per cent and a transaction value reaching Rp14.5 trillion. ‘Based on the results of our investigation into the company concerned, the corporation is still involved. Therefore the ongoing investigation is being strengthened by seeking further evidence at PT MA,’ said Daniel, on Wednesday 4 March 2026. According to Daniel, the case file for the two suspects has been handed to the Prosecutor’s Office. ‘The case files for the two suspects are finished and we have sent them to the prosecutor’s office. We’re just waiting for P21,’ he said. The company originally started under the name PT Bintangmakmur Securindo in 1990. In the same year, its name changed to PT Monas Buana Securities. The company’s development continued when the investor from South Korea, Daewoo Securities, began to hold shares. Later in 2016, the global investment group Mirae Asset Financial Group acquired the majority of the company’s shares and renamed it PT Mirae Asset Sekuritas Indonesia. On the Indonesia Stock Exchange, the company is known by broker code YP.
