Minor fire damages RSCM

JAKARTA: A small fire broke out in the internal diseases ward of Cipto Mangunkusomo general hospital, Central Jakarta, late on Sunday.

No fatalities were reported, as the room was vacant when the fire started at about 11:30 p.m.

Witnesses said that the fire was caused by an electrical short circuit in the room's air conditioning device.

Fire fighters quickly arrived at the scene to put out the fire before it spread to other parts of the hospital. -- JP
