The Ministry of Women Empowerment and Child Protection (PPPA) is coordinating with various Ministries and Agencies (K/L) to implement Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 87 of 2025 concerning the Roadmap for Child Protection in the Digital Realm for 2025–2029.

“We have heard everything. All Ministries/Agencies have presented what has been done and what is planned as part of the implementation of Perpres Number 87,” stated the Minister of PPPA, Arifatul Choiri Fauzi, during a coordination meeting in Jakarta on Monday.

According to the Minister, 15 Ministries/Agencies have been entrusted with the responsibility of executing this regulation. The meeting also addressed the vital roles of families, educational institutions, and the wider community in efforts to protect children online.

The existence of this Presidential Regulation emphasises the prevention of all forms of information and communication technology misuse by prioritising coordination between Ministries/Agencies and local governments. “This prevention will be achieved through collaboration across all levels, not just across ministries and agencies,” added Minister Fauzi.
