Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya stated that the Ministry of Transportation will evaluate Green SM taxis following the collision between the long-distance Argo Bromo Anggrek train and the KRL Commuter Line at Bekasi Timur Station in West Java on Monday night (27/4/2026). Teddy conveyed that Transport Minister Dudy Purwagandhi, through the Director General of Land Transportation Aan Suhanan, will evaluate the Vietnamese taxi company. “In this regard, the Transport Minister through his Director General of Land Transportation has stated that he will evaluate the Green taxi company,” said the Cabinet Secretary. Teddy stated that this step is part of a comprehensive evaluation of the railway safety system to prevent similar incidents in the future. The government, said Teddy, is also committed to carrying out comprehensive arrangements immediately, including adequate security systems at railway crossings. PT KAI President Director Bobby Rasyidin stated that based on the latest data as of 08.45 WIB, 14 people have died. The deceased victims have been taken to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital for further identification. Meanwhile, 84 injured victims have received medical treatment at various health facilities.
