Ministry of Transmigration Accelerates Development of Balerang Transmigration Area

The Ministry of Transmigration of the Republic of Indonesia is conducting the 2026 Summer Course programme in Batam, Riau Islands, as a strategic step towards transforming transmigration areas into modern economic growth centres based on technology and innovation.

Adopting the ‘Transmigration 5.0’ paradigm, this agenda was initiated by Diponegoro University in collaboration with international partners, such as the Technical University of Munich from Germany, to map human resource potential and the development of border industrial zones.
