Ministry of Trade Secures Unqualified Opinion from Audit Board Again

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Trade (Kemendag) has once again received an Unqualified Opinion (Wajar Tanpa Pengecualian - WTP) from the Audit Board of Indonesia (BPK RI).

The Minister of Trade, Budi Santoso, stated that this achievement is a manifestation of the Ministry’s commitment to continuously improving quality and performance, including ensuring that financial accountability is carried out in accordance with regulations.

“This audit encourages us to enhance both quality and performance, particularly in the management of state finances,” Boleh said in a statement in Jakarta on Thursday.

The predicate was awarded for the Ministry of Trade’s Financial Statements for the 2025 Fiscal Year, marking the 14th WTP opinion for the Ministry since 2011.

Budi noted that the guidance and supervision provided by the Audit Board of Indonesia are essential in driving continuous improvement within the Ministry of Trade.

Therefore, he expressed hope that the Ministry of Trade can continue to receive recommendations from the Audit Board as part of the effort to refine various aspects that require improvement.

“We hope that the Ministry of Trade continues to receive recommendations from the Audit Board of Indonesia as part of an effort towards continuous improvement,” he said.
