Ministry of Tourism Receives Award for Largest UMK Spending at Inabuyer Award 2026
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Tourism has received an award as the ministry/agency with the largest spending on micro and small enterprise (UMK) products in the 2025 Fiscal Year, achieving 80% domestic spending realisation at the Inabuyer Award 2026. “This award serves as motivation for us to continue allocating the ministry’s budget to empower products made by the nation’s children, especially in the tourism sector,” said Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism Bayu Aji in an official statement confirmed in Jakarta on Wednesday. The award was directly presented by Deputy Minister for MSMEs Helvi Moraza to the Secretary of the Republic of Indonesia’s Ministry of Tourism Bayu Aji at the Ministry of MSMEs office in Jakarta on Monday (5/5). Through the Inabuyer Award 2026, the Ministry of Tourism reaffirms its position as an institution that not only focuses on promoting destinations but also actively strengthens the structure of the people’s economy by empowering UMK entrepreneurs throughout Indonesia. He explained that the allocation of 80% of the ministry’s spending for local products is expected to provide direct economic impact for UMK entrepreneurs, especially those operating in the tourism sector. Helvi hopes that this achievement can serve as inspiration for other ministries and agencies to continue increasing the absorption of UMK product spending, thereby accelerating domestic economic circulation.
