Ministry of Sea Science necessary

In my opinion, it is high time Indonesia set up a Ministry of
Sea Science. The country's territory is 70 percent water and is
known as a maritime continent.

The archipelago is not only rich in fish but also in many
other natural resources like oil, natural gas, marine lives, and
so on. Therefore a special ministry is needed to manage this area
in order to intensify activities, research and fund raising.
This, in turn, will increase productivity more than if it remains
at the level of a directorate general.
