JAKARTA — The Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag) will conduct new moon observation (rukyatul hilal) for the beginning of Ramadan 1447 Hijriah/2026 on 17 February 2026 at 96 locations across Indonesia. The isbat session will determine the official start of Ramadan.
